basically its the most powerful g4 that was ever shipped, the MDD is mirror drive door. it has a superdrive and 2 gb of ram. where this machine beats the g5 is that it can have 4 internal HD's (vs the 2 for the g5) and 2 optical or 5.25" drives (vs the g5's single) so this is a far more expandable mac than the g5

well, here are some more pics of the actual powermac. if we do this what all do i get with the macbook? can you send me the serial number so i can see how much warranty is left on it (you have the original macbook, they can have problems...but if you still have yours this long its probably in the clear) how much is a reasonable offer? if you take my mac, ill throw in a good condition viewsonic 21; p815 monitor, it has usb built into the base. anywho...let me know whats reasonable

The mac book does not have any of the standard issues. the battery in it has just been replaced due to the recall.I may be interested in just your computer and something like 900 cash.
that sounds like one monster crt.

Sorry man, ill have to pass on this. the dual 1.42 + 900 is way too much for the older macbook pro. they sell on ebay for about 1450-1550 with extras. i get student and developer discount anyways. ive had offers for 1200 for my mac, so i think ill just keep it (macbook wont do photoshop as well) also, the core 2 duo version is supposedly coming out this month, and for that price i can get a new one. you will have to go down on that price to make this work, if not im sure you will find a buyer. let me know
Im sorry, i cant do that. its more me than you. price aside my mac is kinda "priceless" its very rare and it is the most expandable mac ever made besides the macpro. id be crazy to get rid of it. plus i can get a new entry level mbp for 1600. my mac fetches 1000 easily on ebay and then 600 more and i have a brand new one. plus the core 2 duos are coming out this month so it would be worth waiting that much more. also...i already have a 15" powerbook....so i probably dont need 2 notebooks. if you decide to go lower if no one wants your macbook (which im sure you will sell it very quick) then give me a ring. sorry to dissapoint you :-( but if it doesnt sell let me know and maybe we can work something out.

g4's are weak, and old as hell.
So you keep your junk and its not about selling my laptop, its about someone
giving me what i want,
This Friday i am going to be getting a 3 gig mac pro a " real machine " ( unlike your old noisy toy computer )
and a 30", I am going to be giving my mac book to my mother for her birthday, rather then sell it to you for your
shit box with a mirror on the front.

You must not have used a intel mac before.
5 bucks says that mine runs it better even emulated with rosetta.
A core solo 1.5 mac mini... ( 599 ) could emulate photoshop with rosetta better then your dual g4.
Id rather get a mac mini then give you over 200 for yours.

The nosiest mac made was the earliest g5's and g5's in general. i currently own one of every series of macs ever made (with the exception of the macbook pro ( i had a 2.0 and it constantly broke) and the new macpro. and by priceless i meant that its VERY difficult to replace the dual 1.42 with another one for any reasonable amount of money. and if you want to warehouse data a g5 wont do because it only holds 2 internal drives. i do photoshop and video encoding and i need the internal storage, and for what i do there is no replacement for the fastest g4 ever made. especially since the intel macs wont run CS for another year. as for the macbook being faster in photoshop, you probably dont know what your doing to even use it correctly. and im probably right if that video you supposedly made was any reflection of your artistic skills. p.s. if that was you in the video, you have what maddox calls a "pedosmile"...if you dont know what this is then you can read up on your condition here.
anyways...no hard feelings about the laptop and desktop..and i hope you get rid of all the child porn on your macbook before you sell it.
