Digital picture frame in the works!!

This was a Compaq Pentium II laptop with 64 meg of ram
and a 6 gb harddrive. the laptop was all busted
up when i got it. Plus the Hard drive was bad and
so was the CD rom.

I had a extra Hard Drive from a apple power book
that i upgraded and i used the cd-rom from my
slot-load imac that i parted out a while back just
to get the os on it.

it seems to be working now all i need to do is mount
it in a thick picture frame. And wait for my Orinoco
Gold Wireless card to get here... I will just leave it
on 24/7 hang it on the wall and terminal services
into it when i want to change the pictures. I can also
hook up the speakers it came in the laptop. the sound
pretty dam good acutely.


i may be able to play video and music on it... for now
i want it to be a picture frame... it has a yellow line
across the screen its kind of annoying but hey..
it was free i cant complain.
