i am guessing this is a one-of-a-kind!!!

The guy is calling this the voodoo 77000

yup 8 processors externally powered!

i personally owned a voodoo 5500
that had 2 processors... and i thought i was bad ass... the voodoo 5500 dual processor was the
last graphics card 3DFX sold before they were bought out by nvidia.

the sleeping arrangement sucks balls!

The bed totally blows!

I am sitting here all tired and aching... Tired as hell just like always...
I would like to lay in a comfy bed and go to sleep but the bed is all fucked...

I wake up more tired and sore then when i went to bed...
sleeping to me is like a chore.

I'd probably be better off sleeping in my chair with my feet kicked up
on my computer desk.

Yup.

what a day , what a day

I tell you what its been a tough last week.

I should have 4 fully working computer systems ready to sell.. but 3 of the 4 had problems.
so now they are off in la la RMA land...

This is truly the dark side of online shopping.
yes, its a great deal, but god damm... i mean when shit goes wrong
its kind of a big ordeal... lots of waiting ... money that is tied up into product
that you don't even have... its very overwhelming!!!

It makes me want to throw in the towel and get a real job,

Naaaaah... As long as i can keep the rent paid, and all the utilitys turned on
oh and food in my belly... i will be doing ok...

Well, quad core. but why...

well if you are looking to upgrade ... we can do a quad core setup with 4 gb's of ram
for 1000.00

you see the deal here is, all intel hardware is (really) stuck at 2 gigs ram,
because all intel processors are in fact 32 bit.

in order to address, more then 2 GB of ram you need a true 64 bit processor.
Now none of the intel processors are true 64 bit processors... they all have a 64 bit hardware extension set
they use it to address more then 2 gigs of ram... and to fake out some 64 bit applications / operating systems,
Same goes with the ability to read/write to more then 2 gigs of ram.

intel made a true 64 bit processor... its was called the itainum. but it didn't fly because it was not compatible
with anything.

the good thing about the G5 is that, on a hardware level its a true 64 bit processor with a 32bit hardware extension set that can
run 32 bit applications( slower then the G4 in a-lot of cases )

Really, what appears to be evident, it's all about the software... and apple has a leading edge and is more ready for a true 64 bit,
more then anyone else.

even the xeons are all just 32 bit processors with a 64 bit
addressable extension. in-fact they are nothing more then the core 2 with more processor cache.
you can only get so much cache and its like trying to fill a bucket that is already full... the application(s) doesn't need it, or use it.
That is why the xeon is a sick and disgusting massive expensive-as-hell over kill, really even a dual core. on average 99% of the time both cores are yawning doing absolutely nothing,( just making your elect bill more).

so if apple is caught saying anything is true 64 bit and says ( intel ) in the same sentence they are blatantly lying.

the only apple computer that was/is true 64 bit was the G5 and apple saw how much of a living nightmare it was... and they quickly saw that it was easier to do a re-compile of all their 32 bit applications to INTEL... then to re-write all the code for the G5
and relations with ibm was looking bad any how.

its funny however... the 3 core G5 3.2ghz Procesor that is in Microsofts Xbox 360 is all true 64bit. That is why Microsoft is using the processor. 1080p gaming is Heavy Heavy Heavy... and Microsoft knew nothing from intel had what it takes to run what they needed.

Some people can get really addicted to their computers, modding, upgrading, more power, more power...

If i were you i would not be too worried about that 2 gb limitation... 2 gigs of ram is huge... i mean freaking a-lot.
any app that can suck down more then 2 gigs of ram is wasteful and should be banned from use and deleted

Haha

o:-)

unless you can afford that 8 core mac pro with 16 gb of ram... and (2) 30" Apple Displays, then you are so rich its ok to be wasteful..

Computer Speeds in layman's TERMS

Speed Speed Speed: UGH, What a pain in the butt!!

If you are in the market for a new computer you need to ask your self this question...

What will i do right now with the computer system that i am about to build or buy?

I say right NOW because most of the time " oh i may do that later on " never comes.
Unless you are a POWER user, Burning DVD images and doing all kinds of Technical things...
You will more then likely not use most of the features that these fancy expensive computers come with...

Yes, you get what you pay for. But throwing your money at JUNK is a very bad idea!
like the 299.00 DELL Special... BE careful...
after you Bump-UP the Memory, Hard drive, Video Card, Speakers, Printer, HD Flat Screen
you are at 1500 Dollars some how and you STILL have the 299 special... ITs nothing more then a polished TERD!
I mean that last statement wholeheartedly.

If you are not going to build your system your self you should just buy apple because they use pretty dam good intel
hardware, Plus ANY Mac can RUN Windows and OSX.

Anyways, If you are not going to build your self then at-least do this.
After you ask your self the question " What am i going to do with this new system "

Understand that there is no such thing as (faster then instant)!
when you open a application and it instantly pops up... that is fast for 95% of us out there.

In Other situations, Heavy Graphic, Video, Audio Rendering/Editing. Now with these guys TIME=MONEY
Chances are this is not you or I. However if these guys can Shave off 10 15 or 20 minutes of the time it takes
to preform a HEAVY task, then they can afford a 4 or 8 or what ever Thousands of dollars machine, Because they will turn
that time saved with making more money to afford such a monster computer, NOT to mention the Monthly Electric Bill rate for running such a Quad or 8 Core Monstrosity.

Intel Celeron is very outstanding mainstream do-it-all AFFORDABLE CPU and will be just perfect for most everyone.
Regardless what he said ... or what she said... or the NERDY IT guys said...

If you are doing any of the fowling the celeron will be Perfect fit for you.
WEB, Email, Chat, Pictures, Movies, Music, Word Processing and even the occasional computer game.
the Intel 1.6 ghz Conroe-L Processor will have just enough to do what you need it to do.

And if you need a little more UMPH! Maybe for the occasional Hand-break Convert DVD -> IPOD Video

The Core-2 2.2ghz is a great Dual-Core CPU for a reasonable rate.

Just completely skip over the " Pentium Dual-Core " (not worth the $$) they are basically a dual core celeron.
