Computer Speeds in layman's TERMS

Speed Speed Speed: UGH, What a pain in the butt!!

If you are in the market for a new computer you need to ask your self this question...

What will i do right now with the computer system that i am about to build or buy?

I say right NOW because most of the time " oh i may do that later on " never comes.
Unless you are a POWER user, Burning DVD images and doing all kinds of Technical things...
You will more then likely not use most of the features that these fancy expensive computers come with...

Yes, you get what you pay for. But throwing your money at JUNK is a very bad idea!
like the 299.00 DELL Special... BE careful...
after you Bump-UP the Memory, Hard drive, Video Card, Speakers, Printer, HD Flat Screen
you are at 1500 Dollars some how and you STILL have the 299 special... ITs nothing more then a polished TERD!
I mean that last statement wholeheartedly.

If you are not going to build your system your self you should just buy apple because they use pretty dam good intel
hardware, Plus ANY Mac can RUN Windows and OSX.

Anyways, If you are not going to build your self then at-least do this.
After you ask your self the question " What am i going to do with this new system "

Understand that there is no such thing as (faster then instant)!
when you open a application and it instantly pops up... that is fast for 95% of us out there.

In Other situations, Heavy Graphic, Video, Audio Rendering/Editing. Now with these guys TIME=MONEY
Chances are this is not you or I. However if these guys can Shave off 10 15 or 20 minutes of the time it takes
to preform a HEAVY task, then they can afford a 4 or 8 or what ever Thousands of dollars machine, Because they will turn
that time saved with making more money to afford such a monster computer, NOT to mention the Monthly Electric Bill rate for running such a Quad or 8 Core Monstrosity.

Intel Celeron is very outstanding mainstream do-it-all AFFORDABLE CPU and will be just perfect for most everyone.
Regardless what he said ... or what she said... or the NERDY IT guys said...

If you are doing any of the fowling the celeron will be Perfect fit for you.
WEB, Email, Chat, Pictures, Movies, Music, Word Processing and even the occasional computer game.
the Intel 1.6 ghz Conroe-L Processor will have just enough to do what you need it to do.

And if you need a little more UMPH! Maybe for the occasional Hand-break Convert DVD -> IPOD Video

The Core-2 2.2ghz is a great Dual-Core CPU for a reasonable rate.

Just completely skip over the " Pentium Dual-Core " (not worth the $$) they are basically a dual core celeron.
